A young boy, Exton, is born into a poor farming family but his life changes when he discoveries he is the "prodigy" of his generation and must save the empire from oppression.
I really like this concept and it definitely sounds like a film I would want to watch. The only things I would advise you to change would be to not reveal the protagonist's name and to condense it into one sentence so it "flows" better.
This sounds really interesting in the log alone you told us about the main character and what his life is like it tells me alot about the story before reading which is always good.
i agree with claire. it sounds really interesting and something cool to watch. i just recommend taking the name out. gives us a little more to think about, but other than that i like the concept and i really like the way you worded it (:
